Ingredients
1 cup (250ml) granulated sugar
1 cup (250ml) honey
1/2 cup (125 ml) lemon juice
1 tablespoon water (optional)

Steps
Melt the sugar in a saucepan until it begins to caramelize.
Add honey and lemon juice. (Note: careful because the sugar will be very foamy & hot)
Continue till consistency like pancake batter.
Let the wax cool slightly before you use it. (Note: If you want to use it later, let it cool, then refrigerate it.)
Prepare your strips of fabric.
Dust the area with baby powder/corn starch before applying the wax. (Note: Baby powder or corn starch will absorb body oils and moisture, allowing the wax to stick to the hair (not your skin), making the process much less painful.)
Apply the wax. Always use a wooden spatula and apply your homemade wax. Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth.
Press the fabric into the wax on put on the direction of hair growth.
Ensure that the wax should cool completely. (Note: Pull lightly on the bottom edge of your fabric strip to see if it sticks well enough.)
Remove the strip. Hold your skin and pull the strip against the direction of hair growth.(Note: Do this very quickly.)
Store any leftover wax in the refrigerator.(Note: You can keep a couple of weeks in the refrigerator, or a couple of months in the freezer.)
